Mykonos

How to get Mykonos

Mykonos Island

It is very convenient to get to the island by boat as there are two ports in Mykonos. The access can be done by ferries from the port of Rafina (4 ½ hours by the regular boat and 2 ¼ by speedboat), from the port of Piraeus (6 hours by the regular boat and 3 ½ hours by speedboat) and from the port of Laurio with routes that have got Mykonos as a stopover. Especially in summer time the ship routes are daily and frequent by many cruise lines. Get a contact with the relevant travel agencies, if you want to be informed for all the ship routes before you travel.

Mykonos can be connected with the rest neighboring islands like Syros, Tinos, Andros, Naxos and Paros by boat. Also, private yachts can be moored at the new port of Tourlos.

Mykonos is the only island in Northeast Cyclades that has got an international airport. It is connected with regular flights from Athens, while flights from abroad can be landed during the summer season.
