PADI Rescue Diver Course

One of the most interesting and rewarding PADI courses. PADI Rescue Diver develops your knowledge and skills so you can effectively perform diver assists and rescues, manage diving accident situations and render first aid.

The PADI Rescue Diver is one of the most enjoyable courses you will undertake and is an important step in expanding your knowledge and experience beyond a purely recreational level. As a rescue diver you will learn to look beyond yourself to consider the safety and well-being of other divers. The course readies you to help prevent problems and, if necessary, manage dive emergencies using a variety of techniques. The course is great fun and will significantly build your confidence as a diver!

Duration Minimum Age Prerequisites
2-4 Days 12 years or older Advanced Open Water Diver and Emergency First Response qualifications (or equivalents)



PADI Emergency First Response (EFR) Course

This course is an innovative CPR / first aid program. EFR gives you the confidence to respond to medical emergencies. Is prerequisite for the PADI Rescue Diver Course and is ideal for divers and non divers.

Emergency First Response courses encompass adult, child and infant CPR and first aid skills and emergency oxygen use. Emergency First Response courses are flexible in design to accommodate scheduling and training needs.

They can be taught together or alone in any combination.The Emergency First Response courses build lay rescuer confidence to provide care when faced with a medical emergency. Students learn and practice the same patient care techniques and principles used by medical professionals, but at a lay person level.
